Summary: The role of Cloud Security Engineer involves securing large-scale cloud environments specifically for the property and casualty insurance industry. The engineer will implement AWS security controls, support compliance requirements, and enable secure cloud operations. This position is remote and is offered as a contract for a duration of 6 months or more. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in AWS Networking Security and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure large-scale cloud environments and protect insurance data.
- Implement AWS security controls and support compliance requirements.
- Enable secure cloud operations across the cloud platform.
- Manage and automate misconfigurations remediations using Cloud Security Posture Management tools.
- Collaborate with the team on security operations and incident reporting.
Key Skills:
- Strong experience with AWS Networking Security and Terraform/CloudFormation.
- Experience in managing and automating misconfigurations.
- Security automation and scripting experience with Python.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
- SaaS platform security experience.

What we are looking for is a Cloud Security Engineer who would be focused on securing large scale cloud environments, protecting insurance data implementing AWS security controls, supporting compliance requirements, and enabling secure cloud operations across their cloud platform.
Remote – Contract 6 Month +
Required Skills & Experience- Strong experience with AWS Networking Security and Terraform/CloudFormation stack set such as AWS Network Firewall, Route53 DNS Firewall, etc
- Prior experience managing, and automating misconfigurations remediations leveraging Cloud Security Posture Management tools
- Security Automation and Scripting experience with applications such as Python and Bah
- DevSecOps Practices
- SaaS Platform Security Experience
