Cloud Security Engineer 100% Remote

Summary: The Cloud Security Engineer role is a fully remote position focused on enhancing security operations within SaaS environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in security operations and SaaS Security Posture Management, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and communication skills. This position requires a proactive approach to leading remediation efforts and implementing security best practices across teams. Candidates with a background in consulting or Fortune 500 companies, along with relevant certifications, will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead remediation efforts and track/report progress to stakeholders.
• Develop and implement leading security practices across technology and business teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build consensus and understanding.
• Convey complex security problems and solutions to diverse audiences.
• Automate or script repetitive tasks to enhance operational efficiency.
• Integrate SaaS applications and implement security controls.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in security operations or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience with SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) solutions.
• Strong understanding of SaaS application security concepts and best practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• MS/MA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline; or 3+ years of additional experience.
• Relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CISA).
• Experience with SaaS application integrations and security controls.
