Role: Architect Premium III - Cloud Security Architect
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 3 Months (100% Remote)

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Security Architect with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud Security, AI/ML technologies, and DevSecOps practices. This role will lead enterprise-level security strategy and architecture initiatives, with a focus on cloud-native applications, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and AI/ML integrations.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements
Hands-on Policy-as-Code

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with at least two of the following:
    • AWS Config & Service Control Policies (SCPs)
    • Azure Policy
    • Google Cloud Policy
  • Experience with OCI is a strong plus

Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

  • Proven experience with tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates

Scripting & Automation

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and integration

Cloud Security

  • Principles Deep understanding of cloud security fundamentals, including identity and access management (IAM), network security, and data protection. Compliance
  • Frameworks Experience working with common compliance and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).

Candidates should ideally hold one or more of the following certifications:

  • (CISSP/CCSP plus at least one of the below Cloud certificates is required)
  • Azure AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies, AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
  • AWS AWS Certified Security Specialty, AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional
  • Google Cloud Platform Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect
  • Security Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

Desired Attributes

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex cloud environments and propose effective, scalable solutions.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical concepts and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work independently and drive a project from assessment to implementation with minimal supervision.
