Summary: The role of Cloud Network Engineer involves supporting a major cloud transformation programme for a leading pharmaceutical organisation. The position requires expertise in AWS and Azure to design, implement, and optimize secure multi-cloud networking environments. This is a fully remote contract role with a focus on cloud networking, security, and automation. The contract is initially for 6 months but is highly extendable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support secure cloud networking solutions across AWS and Azure environments
- Configure and optimise networking services including Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, load balancing, DNS, VPNs, routing, and gateways
- Support hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity between enterprise and cloud platforms
- Implement and manage security solutions across cloud environments, including Palo Alto and Zscaler technologies
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code deployments using CloudFormation and/or Terraform
- Support automation and CI/CD workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions
- Troubleshoot complex cloud networking and connectivity issues across enterprise environments
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions
- Ensure cloud networking environments align with enterprise security and compliance standards

We are supporting a global technology consultancy delivering a major cloud transformation programme for a leading pharmaceutical organisation. They are looking for an experienced Cloud Network Engineer with strong AWS and Azure expertise to support the design, implementation, automation, and optimisation of secure multi-cloud networking environments.
This is a fully remote UK-based contract role working within a large-scale enterprise environment focused on cloud networking, security, automation, and hybrid connectivity.
