Summary: Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer for a contract role in the Pharma/BioTech sector. The position requires expertise in AWS and Azure environments, particularly with Zscaler and Palo Alto networks. The contract is for an initial duration of 6 months and offers a fully remote working arrangement within the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud network solutions in AWS and Azure environments.
- Utilize Zscaler and Palo Alto networks for secure cloud connectivity.
- Manage AWS networking components such as Elastic Load Balancing, PrivateLink, and Transit Gateway.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation and Terraform.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Cloud Network Engineer or similar role in AWS and Azure environments.
- MUST HAVE proficiency in Zscaler and Palo Alto networks.
- AWS Networking experience: Elastic Load Balancing, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN Segmentation, Hybrid DNS, AWS IPAM, Network Firewall & Proxy, Gateways, Direct Connect, SNS.
- AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (Mandatory), Terraform nice to have.
