Summary: The Cloud Governance Analyst will oversee the governance of cloud computing within a leading technology organization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and best practices. This role involves identifying risks, establishing SLAs and KPIs, and ensuring adherence to cloud standards. The position is remote and is initially for a duration of 7 months. The role requires a strong understanding of cloud computing models and governance best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with key stakeholders to manage the cloud governance strategy.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish SLAs and KPIs for governance and security.
- Ensure adherence to established cloud standards and best practices.
- Establish cloud training programs for effective use of cloud technologies.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment types (public, private, hybrid).
- Strong understanding of cloud fundamentals across Azure and AWS.
- Expertise in risk assessment, mitigation, and cloud auditing.
- Experience with cloud governance best practices, policies, and frameworks.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms and cost tracking/reporting technologies.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Certified, or CCSP certified (highly desirable).
