Summary: The Cloud Governance Analyst will oversee the governance of cloud computing within a leading technology organization, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and adherence to best practices. This role involves identifying risks, collaborating with stakeholders to establish SLAs and KPIs, and ensuring compliance with cloud standards. The position requires a strong understanding of cloud models and governance best practices, particularly in Azure and AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the cloud governance strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
- Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the cloud environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish SLAs and KPIs for governance and security.
- Ensure adherence to established cloud standards, principles, and best practices.
- Establish cloud training programs for effective use of cloud technologies.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of cloud computing models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment types (public, private, hybrid).
- Strong understanding of cloud fundamentals across Azure and AWS.
- Expertise in risk assessment, mitigation, and cloud compliance auditing.
- Experience with cloud governance best practices, policies, and frameworks.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms and cost tracking/reporting technologies.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Certified, or CCSP certified (highly desirable).
