Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries and workloads for efficient resource utilization and cost management.
  • Monitor and tune Snowflake compute resources for optimal performance.
  • Implement best practices for data modeling, partitioning, clustering, and indexing.
  • Manage user roles, access controls, and data masking policies for compliance.
  • Collaborate with InfoSec and compliance teams to enforce data governance policies.
  • Audit and monitor data access and usage patterns for anomalies.

Job Summary:

This resource will be joining the Platform Engineering team within the EDO, this person will be a part of helping to best optimize the Snowflake Platform as they scale its usage across the bank and prepare for the integration of a new Bank. This person will need to help drive best practices of Configuration, optimization, and observability as they scale the platform across the enterprise. This person will be a go to on a platform team and helping lead some of the most important work as acquisition work begins.

Performance & Optimization:
