Summary: Seeking 2 Cloud Automation Engineers to join a dynamic cloud product team focused on testing code for Cloud containerization, AWS Lambda functions, and cloud services pipelines. This role requires a multi-tool testing expert capable of building frameworks and working in fast-paced Agile environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS services, backend testing automation, Python scripting, creating scripts in Postman, Java Lambda testing, and containerized cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing and automating AWS services (EC2, S3, SQS, Lambda, EventBridge, CloudWatch).
  • Lift-and-Shift Migration Testing.
  • Testing Java-based applications and microservices transitioning from on-premise to cloud environments.
  • Building frameworks for automation.
  • API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman.
  • Creating scripts in Postman.
  • Utilizing Cypress and/or multiple frameworks.
  • Writing test automation in Python (Pytest, Boto3).
  • Testing Java-based Lambda functions.
  • Understanding cloud containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/AWS EKS).
  • Working with CI/CD pipelines and automation via Jenkins.
  • Working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Producing detailed qualification reports and testing dashboards.
  • Experience with E-commerce and REST Web Services.
  • Behavior Driven Development, such as Cucumber.
  • Exposure to load testing.
  • Using Git for version control.
  • Flexibility to work on different types of projects daily.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Skills:

  • 8+ years of recent U.S.-based work experience.
  • 8+ years of QA Engineering experience, focusing on cloud-based applications.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services.
  • Strong background in API testing.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting.
  • Experience with Behavior Driven Development.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts using Terraform (nice to have).
  • Experience with load testing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
