Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automation architecture using Ansible for multi-cloud network configuration.
- Develop reusable playbooks, roles, inventories, and collections for provisioning, configuration, and compliance.
- Define and build CI/CD pipelines for automated network deployments and updates.
- Establish frameworks for idempotent, scalable, and modular automation workflows.
- Automate creation and configuration of cloud networking components including VPCs, subnets, route tables, security groups, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers.
- Integrate Ansible with cloud-native APIs and network management and monitoring tools.
- Ensure consistent and predictable network state through repeatable automation.
- Enforce network security best practices through automated policies.
- Integrate automation with vulnerability scanning, compliance tools, and audit frameworks.
- Maintain configuration standards and drift detection through automated checks.
- Collaborate closely with Cloud Architects, Network Engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on automation best practices.
- Advocate for GitOps, IaC, and DevSecOps principles across teams.
- Implement observability and logging for automated network changes.
- Continuously optimize automation workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot automation failures and network-related issues.
Key Skills:
- Strong expertise in Ansible (playbooks, roles, collections, Jinja2).
- Deep understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, VPN, firewalls.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud networking: AWS VPC, Azure Virtual Network, Google Cloud Platform VPC.
- Familiarity with cloud-native networking services (e.g., Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, NAT Gateway).
- Experience with IaC tools (Terraform preferred).
