Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Architect with 12 years of experience to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform. This role requires hands-on technical leadership and collaboration with cross-functional teams to address evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Google Cloud services and experience in managing cloud architecture for enterprise applications. A Google Certified Cloud Architect certification is preferred, along with the ability to lead technical teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & manage cloud architecture for enterprise applications, ensuring performance, scalability, & security across the Google Cloud environment.
- Lead a team of developers & engineers to deliver robust technology solutions, maintaining adherence to technical architecture standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify opportunities, & solve business challenges through cloud-enabled solutions.
- Provide hands-on contributions to coding, code reviews, & architectural planning.
- Define technical requirements & ensure successful integration with business processes & third-party systems via APIs.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure components including front-end platforms, servers, storage, networks, & delivery systems.
- Monitor production environments & enhance observability & alerting systems as needed.
- Develop & maintain documentation, technical standards, & best practices for cloud operations.
- Stay current with emerging technologies & promote a culture of continuous learning within the team.
- Estimate effort & resource needs for complex projects & support staffing decisions.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production cloud environments or equivalent cloud certifications.
- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services & infrastructure management.
- Google Certified Cloud Architect certification preferred.
- Experience with software development lifecycle processes & enterprise application deployment.
- Proficient in integrating third-party applications & services through APIs.
- Ability to lead technical teams & guide architectural decision-making.
