Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a secure, robust, and compliant Azure environment.
- Support the deployment of IoT devices and solutions in a hosted cloud environment.
- Develop a comprehensive cloud strategy with governance at its core.

- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Travel to EU sites for workshops as part of the implementation process.

Key Skills:

- Knowledge of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.

As the Cloud Architect you will responsible for the design and delivery of a secure, robust and compliant Azure environment. The business are deploying IoT devices and solutions in to their hosted cloud environment so you will need prior experience in these types of solutions. The core elements are to support the delivery of a comprehensive cloud strategy with governance at it's core, build a scalable and robust cloud environment that meets the overall needs of the businesses digital capability. You will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders to achieve this and the business are implementing this environment on a European wide scale, so there will be some travel to sites in the EU for workshops. Your work will touch multiple business units and teams, including digital and finance and security and will ensure that the architecture meets their needs.
You'll need technical skills in Azure Cloud Services, IaaS/Paas/SaaS, IoT Software solutions delivery, DevOps and DevSecOps, Containerisation tools and Terraform. Most importantly you'll be someone that has been working in Azure for a sustained period of time and you will understand this environment and the cost implications of Azure too. You'll have certifications and be able to talk technically to those you need to and support non-technical people in their understanding of the Azure environment.
