Summary: The Cloud AI Architect role involves leading the establishment of Cloud Enterprise Architecture and defining strategies for leveraging Cloud Services and Generative AI. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including CIOs and security officers, to ensure effective implementation and governance of AI solutions. The role is remote and is classified as inside IR35 for an initial 9-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining & evangelising Client’s Cloud and Generative AI Strategies
  • Provide Enterprise Architecture direction to departments and CTO
  • Ownership of Generative AI specific technology domains within the Cloud Architecture Practice
  • Establishing a close partnership with Global Business/Global Function CIOs & their Chief Architects
  • Partnering and collaborating with Clients development and technology communities
  • Partnering with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Security Architect
  • Partnering with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and Chief Data Architect
  • Partnering with IT Infrastructure Delivery (CTO) Cloud Services team
  • Ensuring appropriate governance exists underpinning GenAI adoption
  • Evangelising the Cloud Strategy across Client

Cloud AI Architect

Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Cloud AI Architect on a remote basis for an initial 9 month contract. *** INSIDE IR35 ***

Our client are looking for a step change in how they can leverage approved Cloud Services in a seamless way and the establishment of the Cloud Enterprise Architecture. Practise is fundamental for their success to define enterprise architecture, deployment patterns and share best practises.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Defining & evangelising Client’s Cloud and Generative AI Strategies
  • Provide Enterprise Architecture direction to departments and CTO.
  • Ownership of Generative AI specific technology domains within the Cloud Architecture Practice
  • Establishing a close partnership with our Global Business/Global Function CIOs & their Chief Architects to understand their demand through a Adoption Strategy & Adoption roadmap.
  • Partnering and collaborating with Clients development and technology communities to define, evolve and modernise architectures and patterns
  • Partnering with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Security Architect to support the definition and evolution of a AI Security Strategy and its implementation
  • Partnering with the Chief Data Officer (CDO) and Chief Data Architect to support the definition and evolution of a Cloud Data and Gen AI Strategy and its implementation including enabling faster applications deployment through a set of standardized and secured data paths, patterns and tools
  • Partnering with IT Infrastructure Delivery (`cto) Cloud Services team to: engineer and design and enable GenAI platform services; define a fully integrated Cloud Services catalogue
  • Ensuring appropriate governance exists underpinning GenAI adoption, ensuring that appropriate regulatory, compliance, security and architecture controls are effectively maintained

In addition, all members of Cloud Architecture Practice are required to Evangelise the Cloud Strategy across Client

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years working experience with exceptional capabilities that would allow them to partner with the senior executives to shape and drive AI solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills required, strategic thinker who is able to articulate in senior forums whilst grasp complicated technical concepts.
  • Proven experience in guiding and navigating enterprise wide development of solutions and responsible for key decisions.
  • Multi-cloud experience is required and must stay up to date with emerging trends.
