Summary: The CLM Business Solution Manager is responsible for overseeing proof-of-concept execution and ensuring alignment between CLM tool capabilities and business requirements within the Pharma/Health Sciences sector. This role involves leading cross-functional workshops, managing stakeholder engagement, and ensuring compliance with testing standards. The position requires a strong understanding of CLM processes and effective knowledge transfer to support the transition to a permanent business solution manager. The role is remote-friendly and offers a duration of 6 months with potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee the proof-of-concept execution across procurement, quality, and contract functions.
- Validate that CLM tool capabilities align with business requirements.
- Support business case development and ensure alignment with digital strategy and stakeholder priorities.
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align and optimize business processes with CLM tool functionality.
- Act as the bridge between the business and implementation partner to ensure practical, scalable process design.
- Promote digital process efficiency and identify areas for simplification and automation.
- Drive structured stakeholder engagement across Procurement, Quality, and Contract teams (not Legal).
- Ensure all user and business requirements are properly captured, prioritized, and tracked.
- Serve as the central point of contact to coordinate input from site and global stakeholders.
- Oversee testing preparation and execution to ensure full compliance with CSV (Computer System Validation) standards.
- Review and ensure traceability of business requirements to test cases and validation deliverables.
- Coordinate with implementation partner to align testing timelines, responsibilities, and reporting.
- Ensure business and technical knowledge captured during the design and PoC is transferred effectively to the team.
- Prepare for handover to the future system owner and permanent business solution manager.
- Support development of SOPs, documentation, and training material in collaboration with the implementation partner.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years' experience in business process management or solution ownership within Pharma/Health Sciences.
- Strong understanding of CLM processes in quality, procurement, and contract administration (excluding legal focus).
- Experience supporting PoC initiatives, vendor evaluation, and digital solution implementations.
- Knowledge of CLM tools (e.g., Icertis, Agiloft, Veeva, DocuSign CLM) and their capabilities.
- Familiarity with CSV principles and GxP compliance expectations in system testing.
- Proven ability to engage and align global stakeholders and manage functional requirements.
- Skilled in cross-functional communication, knowledge transfer, and transition planning.
- Fluent in English; experience working in matrix and regulated environments is essential.
