Summary: The Client Accounting Specialist role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks delegated by supervisors, with a strong emphasis on client communication regarding bookkeeping and tax readiness. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage monthly client accounting/bookkeeping projects.
- Maintain client books as per supervisor instructions.
- Review CAS projects for quality assurance of documentation.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts monthly.
- Analyze balance sheet comparisons and identify discrepancies.
- Communicate with clients regarding accounting and bookkeeping matters.
- Refresh and ensure accuracy of various workpapers.
- Correct journal entries and review financials.
- Resolve issues in QuickBooks online and desktop.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-5 years of bookkeeping or Client Accounting Service experience.
- Minimum 2 years of QuickBooks experience (Online and Desktop).
- Proficient in A/R, A/P, payroll, sales tax, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of US tax laws and regulations.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred: CPA license and bookkeeping certification.
