Summary: The Citrix Admin role involves providing advanced technical support for Citrix and XenApps server environments, ensuring optimal performance of VDI platforms, and addressing client inquiries. The position requires collaboration with team members and participation in client meetings to maintain high levels of client satisfaction. The role also includes deploying and supporting core Microsoft services. The candidate must be a technical Subject Matter Expert in the environment and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing level-2 and level-3 technical support for Citrix / XenApps server environment
- Monitoring of VDI platform with various client tools (Netscaler, ControlUP)
- Supporting VDI End-User Sessions and VDI Stack
- Ensuring virtual sessions are working as intended
- Handling IT-VDI related requests or inquiries received by client helpdesk
- Ensuring all Citrix platform server systems under management have updated software patches
- Providing XenDesktop Broker support including VDI monitoring and alerting
- Ensuring high levels of client satisfaction for supported products/solutions
- Addressing all technical questions around VDI and Citrix
- Participating in client meetings to update team members
- Deploying and supporting core Microsoft services (AD, ADFS, DNS & DHCP, WSUS, Group Policy)

- Advanced system testing tool knowledge & experience
- Strong technical experience with Citrix Xen Desktop, Citrix Xen Server, and Microsoft Windows infrastructure
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Experience with Workflow analysis

- Ability to provide one-on-one training to teammates
