Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for an excellent opportunity for an experienced Childcare Solicitor to join a well-regarded local authority in the West Midlands on a remote working basis.

This assignment is expected to run for an initial 3-6 months, with the strong possibility of extension, and is offering a competitive rate of £55-60 per hour DOE.

The successful Childcare Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of public law children matters, including care proceedings and pre-proceedings work. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a full caseload of childcare matters
  • Providing legal advice on all aspects of public law childrens work
  • Attending PLO and legal planning meetings
  • Drafting legal documentation, including statements and threshold documents

The role can be worked fully remotely for the foreseeable future, offering excellent flexibility.
