Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for child support systems.
- Work closely with program staff, technical teams, and end-users to understand and translate policy and business needs into system functionality.
- Create use cases, process flows, data mappings, and gap analyses for child support enforcement activities (e.g., case initiation, enforcement, collections, intergovernmental cases).
- Support system design, testing (UAT), and implementation efforts.
- Ensure alignment with state child support policies.
- Conduct impact analysis for system changes and new regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with QA teams for test planning and verification of system functionality.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, JAD sessions, and status reporting.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Child Support projects.
- Strong knowledge of IV-D child support programs, case processing, and associated federal/state regulations.
- Experience working on legacy modernization or integrated eligibility systems is a plus.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in tools such as MS Office, Visio, JIRA, or similar BA tools.
