Summary: The Lead DevSecOps Engineer will spearhead the security and automation strategy for a significant Defence digital transformation programme in the UK. This role involves driving secure software delivery across a complex, multi-cloud environment while ensuring security is integrated throughout the software delivery lifecycle. The position requires SC Clearance and offers a remote working arrangement for a duration of 6 months, with potential for extension.   • Designing and improving secure CI/CD and GitOps pipelines

  • Enhancing observability through monitoring, logging and audit capabilities
  • Collaborating with developers, testers, infrastructure and security teams to deliver secure-by-design solutions

Lead the security and automation strategy behind one of the UK's most significant Defence digital transformation programmes.

We're looking for an experienced Lead DevSecOps Engineer to drive secure software delivery across a complex, multi-cloud environment supporting critical UK Defence capabilities.

This is a highly visible role where you'll shape DevSecOps standards, influence engineering teams, and ensure security is embedded throughout the entire software delivery lifecycle.
