Summary: The Certified Workday Time & Absence Tester role involves hands-on testing of Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Scheduling modules, requiring strong knowledge of UK statutory requirements and integrations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute end-to-end testing for Workday Absence, Time Tracking, and Scheduling modules and obtain sign off from the Business Lead.
  • Validate leave balances, accrual rules, absence types, and approvals.
  • Test time entry, overtime calculations, shift differentials, schedule management, and eligibility of absence and time tracking.
  • Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and System Integration Testing (SIT) for time tracking and scheduling.
  • Verify payroll integration with Workday Time Tracking to ensure accurate gross-to-net payroll calculations.
  • Ensure compliance with holiday policies, statutory leave, and company absence policies.
  • Identify and document defects, tracking issues through the test management system.

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with Workday Absence & Time Tracking testing.
  • Familiarity with Kronos Workforce Management (UKG).
  • Understanding of UK working time regulations, overtime policies, and payroll impacts.
  • Experience executing UAT, SIT, and regression testing.
  • Strong business user testing experience for workforce management systems.
  • Ability to document test results, defects, and system issues clearly.
