Summary: The role of Certified Scrum Master for SAP SuccessFactors involves leading the technical workstream of a large-scale implementation, guiding cross-functional teams through Agile delivery while ensuring alignment with the SAP ecosystem. This remote-first position requires occasional travel for key workshops and stakeholder engagements. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing technical activities across various SuccessFactors modules and facilitating collaboration with HR and technical teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all Scrum ceremonies for the SuccessFactors technical team, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach team members on Agile principles and ensure adherence to Scrum best practices
- Track sprint progress, velocity, risks, and impediments, driving resolution as needed
- Provide transparent status reporting to program leadership and PMO
- Coordinate technical activities across SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Compensation, and Learning Management System (LMS)
- Partner with technical leads on integrations, middleware, data migration, security, and environment readiness
- Support planning and execution of testing cycles, cutover activities, and deployment readiness
- Ensure alignment with functional teams, HR stakeholders, and enterprise architecture
- Leverage prior SAP S/4HANA implementation experience to manage dependencies between SuccessFactors and S/4HANA
- Facilitate collaboration between HRIS, SAP Basis, integration teams, and business process owners
- Ensure technical designs and integrations align with program standards and governance
- Provide clear and consistent communication to leadership, HR stakeholders, and technical teams
- Support roadmap planning, release planning, and milestone tracking
- Drive continuous improvement and foster a collaborative, delivery-focused team culture
Key Skills:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation
- Experience leading or supporting SAP SuccessFactors technical workstreams, including integrations, data migration, security, and middleware
- Strong understanding of HR systems, cloud architecture, and enterprise integration patterns
- Proven ability to manage distributed teams in fast-paced environments
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills
