Summary: The role of Certified Scrum Master for S/4HANA Implementation involves leading Scrum ceremonies, managing delivery challenges, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles within a technology track. Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies for the Technology Track, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles, Scrum best practices, and project governance standards.
  • Remove impediments, manage risks, and proactively address delivery challenges.
  • Maintain sprint metrics, velocity tracking, and transparent reporting to the PMO and program leadership.
  • Partner with SAP technical leads, BASIS, security, integration, and data teams to coordinate technical deliverables.
  • Support planning and execution of S/4 technical activities such as environment builds, transports, integrations, cutover readiness, and testing cycles.
  • Ensure alignment between functional, technical, and infrastructure workstreams.
  • Facilitate cross-team collaboration to keep dependencies visible and managed.
  • Provide clear, consistent communication to program leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Support roadmap planning, release planning, and milestone tracking.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and accountability within the team.

Key Skills:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation (technology or cross-functional track).
  • Strong understanding of SAP technical components: integrations, data migration, security, BASIS, environments, and cutover.
  • Proven ability to manage distributed teams in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.
