Summary: The Capital Budget Reporting Lead at EANI is responsible for strategically managing and developing the organization's capital budget reporting function. This role involves liaising with various teams and external stakeholders to ensure continuous service improvement and compliance with statutory reporting obligations. The position requires strong leadership to oversee a team and drive the implementation of effective capital budget strategies. The role is remote with occasional travel to offices for meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Overseeing and coordinating EA capital budget reporting processes in line with monthly reporting requirements.
• Providing oversight and guidance to Capital Finance Business Partners regarding the Capital Budget.
• Developing the Draft Capital Budget Strategy for senior finance consideration.
• Coordinating year-end capital budget reporting procedures.
• Liaising with NIAO on the audit of the EA Annual Report and Accounts.
• Ensuring up-to-date technical knowledge relevant to the Capital Reporting and Accounting Function.
• Supporting the Functional Lead in measuring performance through key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Contributing to the design and implementation of financial procedures for capital transactions.
• Collaborating with various services to deliver high-quality business and finance support.
• Managing assigned staff in line with EA policy and procedures.

Key Skills:

• Fully qualified accountant with membership of a CCAB body or equivalent.
• Experience in delivering statutory and financial reporting requirements.
• Proven ability to improve outcomes in a finance function.
• Experience in leading, managing, and developing a team.
• Experience in finance policy, preparation of annual accounts, financial planning, and providing technical accounting advice.
