Our client is seeking a Software Engineer 3 to remediate critical vulnerabilities and modernize legacy applications. This is a hands-on software engineering role focused primarily on backend development, legacy .
NET remediation, and migration to modern .
NET Core/OpenShift environments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and remediate critical/high vulnerabilities in existing applications.
Work hands-on with legacy .
NET Framework code, including applications running on .
NET Framework 4.7.x.
Develop, test, and deploy code changes through the full remediation lifecycle.
Modernize legacy applications by migrating .
NET Framework to .
NET Core.
Support migration of applications from Windows/IIS environments to on-prem OpenShift.
Develop and maintain backend services using C#, .
NET, EF Core, and SQL Server.
Contribute to React-based UI development as needed.
Collaborate with engineering and security teams to resolve application vulnerabilities.
Required Skills:
Five (5) years of experience
Hands-on experience with both .
NET Framework and .
NET Core.
Strong C# development experience.
Experience with SQL/SQL Server and EF Core.
Experience with React and JavaScript.
Experience working with legacy applications, preferably .
NET Framework 4.7.x.
Ability to troubleshoot, modify, test, and deploy application code.
