Summary: Immediate opportunity for a Business Continuity Project Lead specializing in Disaster Recovery, offered as a 6-month contract with potential for extension. The role is remote and involves leading business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives within a healthcare context. Key Responsibilities:
- 1on1 training for about a month
- Mon-Fri 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm CST
- Every other Friday off (this week the schedule will be 8am-5pm)
- Lead the refinement and documentation of business services and dependency mapping within the Fusion resilience platform
- Facilitate workflows between Business Continuity (BC), Disaster Recovery (DR), Incident/Crisis Management, and Third-Party Resilience
- Coordinate recovery strategy planning and resilience integration activities across multiple teams
- Track milestones, monitor delivery timelines, and maintain audit-ready data accuracy
- Partner with leadership and service owners to ensure operational resilience maturity across business domains
- Contribute to the organization’s evolving resilience operating model through data-driven insights and cross-functional engagement.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, operational resilience, or risk management
- Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery Leadership
- Fusion (or similar resilience tooling) Experience
- Project and Program Management (workflow governance and data accuracy)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (5 years in Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery)
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP)
