Summary: The Business Consultant Planisware role involves partnering with client teams to translate strategic objectives into enterprise portfolio management solutions. The consultant will lead discovery sessions, advise on governance and process optimization, and design scalable solution architectures. This position requires extensive experience with Planisware and a strong background in consulting and enterprise transformation. The role is primarily remote with minimal travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with client business and leadership teams to understand strategic objectives and translate them into enterprise portfolio management solutions.
  • Lead business discovery sessions, stakeholder workshops, and requirements gathering exercises.
  • Advise clients on portfolio governance, operating model design, process optimization, and transformation initiatives enabled by Planisware.
  • Design scalable solution architectures aligned with business priorities, governance frameworks, and industry best practices.
  • Define future-state business processes, operating models, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Provide strategic guidance on system integration, data migration, testing, and deployment approaches.
  • Support vendor assessments, solution evaluations, and implementation planning activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and solution design.
  • Present recommendations and solution approaches to executive stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Develop governance frameworks, performance metrics, and continuous improvement recommendations.
  • Support change management, user adoption, and business readiness initiatives throughout the transformation lifecycle.
  • Mentor client teams and facilitate knowledge transfer to enable long-term organizational success.

Key Skills:

  • 12+ years of experience in consulting, enterprise transformation, solution architecture, or business process improvement initiatives.
  • 8+ years of experience delivering or advising on Planisware-enabled Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions.
  • Strong understanding of portfolio management, project governance, resource planning, and enterprise operating models.
  • Experience leading client workshops, business process assessments, and strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with enterprise integrations, data migration, SQL/Oracle databases, and solution lifecycle management.
