Business Architect - Guidewire

Summary: The role of Business Architect - Guidewire involves leveraging extensive experience in Guidewire Jutro and core insurance platforms to align digital initiatives with business goals. The candidate will facilitate the modernization of customer and agent engagement for insurance carriers through scalable solutions. This position requires a deep understanding of insurance value chains and architecture frameworks. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business and technical teams to ensure effective implementation of Jutro-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• 10+ years of experience in insurance, including 5+ years in enterprise/business architecture roles.
• Proven experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
• Strong hands-on exposure to Guidewire Jutro (design system, SDK, experience templates, micro frontends).
• Deep understanding of insurance value chains, including quoting, underwriting, claims processing, and billing workflows.
• Expertise in architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, BIZBOK, or Zachman.
• Define and maintain business capability models, value streams, and target operating models aligned with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define end-to-end digital user journeys across policy, billing, and claims.
• Identify opportunities to use Jutro front-end capabilities to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
• Serve as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure Jutro-based UI frameworks are mapped accurately to business requirements.
• Partner with product owners and delivery teams to guide Jutro implementation and integration with Guidewire core services.
• Participate in platform roadmap planning, including front-end modernization, mobile engagement, and self-service capabilities.
• Present architectural artifacts and findings to executive and technology leadership.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of business capabilities, solution blueprints, and integration patterns.
• Define and enforce business architecture guardrails to support scalable and sustainable delivery.
