Summary: The role of Business Analyst at Optum involves collaborating with the Community Pharmacy product team to enhance pharmacy operations through detailed requirement documentation and user workflow analysis. The position requires a proactive approach in working with user researchers and product teams to develop product strategies and features. This is a day rate contract role until the end of 2025, primarily remote with monthly team meetings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the community pharmacy industry, particularly in dispensing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with User Researchers and Product team to identify and document opportunities within the Proscript system.
- Capture and document customer and user requirements to support product roadmap development.
- Analyze product data to identify trends and insights for strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with Product owners to break down features into user stories.
- Document systems, processes, and procedures to support new feature design.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Community Pharmacy industry.
- Excellent documentation skills for systems and requirements.
- Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies.
- Ability to communicate findings effectively to the wider business.
- Experience working with Product Designers to inform design solutions.
