Summary: The role of Business Analyst at Optum involves collaborating with the Community Pharmacy product team to document and deliver detailed requirements for pharmacy operations, specifically focusing on dispensing processes. The position requires a proactive approach in working with user research and product teams to enhance workflow efficiency across over 5,200 pharmacies. This is a day rate contract opportunity until the end of 2025, with remote working arrangements and monthly team meetings. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Community Pharmacy industry and a strong background in documenting user requirements and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with User Researchers and Product team to identify and document opportunities within the Proscript system.
  • Capture and document customer and user requirements to support product roadmap development.
  • Analyze product data to identify trends and insights for strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product owners to break down features into user stories.
  • Document systems, processes, and procedures to support new feature design.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the Community Pharmacy industry.
  • Excellent documentation skills for systems and requirements.
  • Knowledge of SDLC and experience in agile methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate findings effectively to the wider business.
  • Experience working with Product Designers to inform design solutions.
