Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst for a Central Government programme, offering a fully remote role with a 3-month rolling contract. The ideal candidate will have proven experience within Central Government and be adept at working within established governance and delivery standards. This position requires strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to produce high-quality documentation. The role is classified as inside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Owners, delivery teams and stakeholders
  • Elicit, analyse and document business and user requirements
  • Translate policy, operational and service needs into clear, actionable requirements
  • Support product and service delivery through discovery, Alpha and beta phases
  • Produce high-quality artefacts including:
    • Business requirements
    • User stories
    • Process maps
    • Impact assessments
  • Ensure alignment with government standards and ways of working
  • Engage with stakeholders across multiple teams and seniority levels

Key Skills:

  • Strong Business Analyst experience within Central Government (essential)
  • Strong understanding of government digital delivery frameworks
  • Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Overview
