Summary: The role of Business Analyst involves working on mission-critical projects for a UK Government Defence Client within a large technical consultancy. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements elicitation and documentation for defence and national security programmes
- Analyse and optimise business processes, operational models, and system workflows
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement across MOD and defence organisations
- Support delivery teams with business change analysis, gap assessments, and solution validation
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Defence, MOD, aerospace, or national security environments
- Strong knowledge of requirements engineering, business process modelling, and data analysis
- Experience supporting technical delivery teams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid frameworks
- SC Security Clearance

MERITUS are excited to be working with a large scale technical consultancy looking for an experienced Business Analyst Contractor to join on a contract basis working with a UK Government Defence Client.
The successful candidate will play a key role working on mission-critical projects that support the UK's defence and security capabilities. It is essential that candidates hold an active SC Clearance & have previous experience working as a Business Analyst within a Defence environment. The role is fully remote although flexibility to be able to come into the London office if required would be preferred.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements elicitation and documentation for defence and national security programmes
