Summary: The role of Business Analyst involves supporting project delivery through the analysis and translation of business, regulatory, and user needs, with a focus on compliance and data governance. Key Responsibilities:
- Capture, analyse, and validate business, regulatory, and user requirements to support successful project delivery.
- Create and maintain detailed process maps to ensure clarity, traceability, and efficiency in project delivery.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects, Systems Analysts, and Technical Leads to ensure business needs are effectively translated into technical solutions.
- Partner with Business Change Managers and improvement teams to identify and implement BAU enhancements, ensuring project outputs deliver measurable benefits.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of robust data governance frameworks to ensure compliance and regulatory alignment.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within regulatory or compliance-driven environments.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles and related frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience in business process modelling, mapping, and improvement.
- Skilled in requirements management and analysis using relevant tools.
- Understanding of impact analysis and the ability to assess and estimate change implications within complex environments.
- Experience with regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, FCA, PRA, or other compliance standards (desirable).
