Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in fund administration and financial services for a key role supporting regulatory, operational, and data-focused initiatives. This fully remote opportunity involves working with a leading technology and operations partner within the investment management space. The successful candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance fund administration processes, data quality, and workflow automation, with a preference for familiarity with cloud data platforms like AWS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritise business and technical requirements.
  • Analyse and map current vs. future-state fund administration processes to identify gaps and optimisation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and product teams to translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
  • Support solution development and testing to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and data investigations to support operational and reporting requirements.
  • Ensure regulatory and audit standards are considered throughout all analysis and documentation work.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases, solution evaluations, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Skills:

  • 4+ years' experience as a Business Analyst within financial services, ideally with direct exposure to fund administration.
  • Strong understanding of fund operations, accounting workflows, client reporting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong domain knowledge of fund administration processes: NAV, reconciliations, investor services, compliance reporting.
  • Familiarity with fund structures (eg, UCITS, hedge funds, private equity).
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements such as AIFMD, MiFID II, SFDR, GDPR.
  • Experience working with custodians, fund administrators, or asset managers.
