Summary: The Business Analyst for Guidewire Billing is responsible for addressing open issues within the Guidewire Billing Domain, collaborating with clients to triage and test these issues, and ensuring all items remain within scope. This role requires proficiency in Guidewire Billing Functionality and effective communication skills to liaise with clients. The analyst will also manage defects related to billing workflows and maintain various billing configurations. Overall, the position is pivotal in translating operational challenges into technical specifications and overseeing the implementation of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand Guidewire Billing Domain open issues
- Help triage issues with clients
- Test the issues after SIT is complete before requesting client testing
- Keep track of items in scope
- Manage and resolve defects related to billing workflows, payment processing, and disbursements configurations
- Maintain billing plans, payment plans, charge patterns, delinquency workflows, and business rules
- Maintain detailed root cause analysis
- Partner with Business Team to gather requirements, validate solutions, and obtain sign-off from business owners
- Translate operational issues and enhancement requests into clear technical specifications
- Provide impact assessments and effort estimates for change requests
- Perform and oversee code fixes, configuration changes, code merges, and deployments
- Manage scheduled batch processes and integration touchpoints
