Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst with 5 7+ years of experience in data governance, data classification/sensitivity, data security, IT infrastructure, or endpoint-related initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have enterprise experience analyzing data usage, systems, data flows, and security risks across multiple business units and developing recommendations for secure data storage, access, and VDI migration.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and classify data sensitivity across systems, applications, workflows, and business units.
- Identify critical systems, sensitive data, and high-risk storage practices.
- Analyze data/process flows across applications, servers, networks, and endpoints.
- Evaluate VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) and secure data-management solutions.
- Develop business cases, use cases, cost-benefit analyses, and migration recommendations.
- Gather requirements and conduct stakeholder interviews/workshops across business and technology teams.
- Partner with Information Security, Infrastructure, Technology, Governance, and business stakeholders.
- Evaluate access controls and Privileged Access Management (PAM) processes.
- Support risk, compliance, auditing, and migration roadmap activities.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership.
Required Skills
- 5 7+ years of Business Analyst experience in enterprise IT/security environments.
- Experience with Data Governance, Data Classification, Data Sensitivity, Data Security, or Secure Data Storage.
- Experience analyzing systems usage, data flows, infrastructure, endpoints, and business processes.
- Understanding of VDI / Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.
- Strong requirements gathering, stakeholder management, documentation, and analytical skills.
- Experience developing business cases, use cases, and executive-level recommendations.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
