Summary: The Business Analyst role is a 12-month fixed-term contract focused on driving business process improvements and supporting new projects aligned with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Recommend and scope/design changes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and compliance.
- Define and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate potential solutions.
- Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation to support business processes.
- Monitor and report on the outcomes of process changes to ensure sustained improvement.
- Work closely with departmental leads to understand pain points and develop continuous improvement plans.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and drive alignment on process improvements.
- Conduct training sessions to educate teams on new processes and methodologies.
- Provide business analysis support during the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment.
- Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on progress and gather feedback.
- Ensure all change initiatives are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

The Business Analyst drives business process improvements, ensuring the successful implementation of best practices, and supporting new projects aligned with organisational goals. The Business Analyst collaborates with stakeholders across internal departments, reviews systems, identifies inefficiencies, proposes and designs solutions, in order to drive continuous improvement. The Business Analyst maintains business documentation to support knowledge sharing and enhance operational efficiency.
Procedures
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of existing systems and processes across departments to identify areas for improvement. This may include SWOT and gap analysis to identify current vs desired states
- Recommend and scope/design changes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and compliance
- Define and document functional and non-functional requirements
- Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments to evaluate potential solutions
- Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation to support business processes
- Develop and maintain process maps, guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), business cases, and other documentation
- Monitor and report on the outcomes of process changes to ensure sustained improvement
Connect and Collaborate
- Work closely with departmental leads to understand pain points and develop continuous improvement plans
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather input and drive alignment on process improvements
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by applying methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma.
- Conduct training sessions to educate teams on new processes and methodologies
- Assist with the initiation and planning of new projects based on findings from process reviews
- Provide business analysis support during the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering and stakeholder alignment
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that deliverables align with business needs
