Summary: Main Sail is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee Facility Construction Procurement and Install projects, as well as Maintenance Services contracts. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including federal agencies, to ensure successful project completion. The candidate will manage multiple programs and be responsible for quality control, project management, and communication with clients. This position is remote and requires a strong background in engineering and program management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Infrastructure HVAC Site Lead to schedule and perform manufacturers' preventative maintenance services on mechanical and electrical systems and supervise systems technicians in performing their periodic preventive maintenance to ensure any issues are detected early and resolved before the equipment fails.
- Perform quality control functions related to the preventive and corrective maintenance being performed.
- Perform root cause analysis of mechanical equipment malfunctions and strive for continuous improvement, making recommendations to customers.
- Review and validate customer corrective maintenance requests.
- Prepare corrective maintenance service orders, work statements, cost estimates, and price proposals for submission to customers.
- Perform project management of corrective maintenance service orders, including responsibility for cost, schedule, quality, permitting, ordering of supplies, and direction of employees and/or subcontractors.
- Provide monthly updates to Siemens management and government customers on work performed, plans, budget, maintenance scheduling, project financials, staffing forecasts, and overall project status.
- Work directly with Account Management to forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., monthly sales results and annual forecasts), define program project goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify future and current technical expertise needed in collaboration with business users and stakeholders.
- Submit annual DoD Client Reporting through the DoD Enterprise-wide Contractor Client Reporting Application (eCMRA).
- Manage subcontractor mechanical maintenance personnel on the proper methodologies and procedures to maintain mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
Key Skills:
- Able to obtain the necessary background check for site access.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college in a relevant field.
- Minimum 5 years of increasing experience in engineering, Program Management, and Leadership.
- Experience managing mid-to-large projects across multiple locations.
- Experience with US Federal Government projects, contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Experience working with US Army Corps of Engineers, The US Navy, The US Air Force.
- Experience in Utility Monitoring and Controls (UMCS) and Construction Management.
- Experience in identifying and implementing cost savings measures within projects.

The successful candidate will work across multiple programs and interact with the US Army Corps of Engineers, The US Navy, The US Air Force, and other federal agencies.

- Additional certifications for specific systems are a plus
- Prefer 3-years Quality Control experience in managing quality control processes for similar work. This may require classroom training for the United States Army Corp of Engineers Quality Control Certification
- Prefer 3-years experience managing the position and processes of Site Safety Health Officer for similar systems. The required training must be obtainable by the applicant for OSHA-30, Fall Protection, First Aid / CPR and any site or system specific safety training
