Summary: The Senior Integration Engineer role focuses on designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions using Boomi technologies. The position requires collaboration with product owners and business leaders to ensure alignment with system architecture and business requirements. The engineer will also provide technical mentorship and support while driving continuous improvement in integration practices. This is a remote contract position lasting 8 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions to connect systems, applications, and data sources.
- Partner closely with product owners and business leaders to design, implement, and deploy integration solutions.
- Design and architect middleware solutions.
- Analyze infrastructure components and services underpinning the Integration environment, including Boomi Event streams and BOOMI Flow.
- Identify, analyze, and develop interfaces and integration flows using Boomi.
- Create Boomi API architecture.
- Work with various components of the Boomi platform and API management.
- Collaborate with architects and senior contributors to ensure alignment with overall system architecture and business requirements.
- Responsible for installation, configuration, monitoring, and problem resolution for middleware platforms and tools.
- Ensure quality assurance practices and strategies are in place for high-quality outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement in integration practices, tools, and processes.
- Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer among multi-functional collaborators.
- Stay updated on trends, technologies, and standard processes in integration engineering.
- Provide technical mentorship and support to other engineers.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting integration solutions and middleware solutions.
- 3+ years of experience with Boomi Event Streams and Boomi Flow.
- Strong expertise as Boomi Lead.
- Ability to work with various components of the Boomi platform and API management.
- Experience in creating Boomi API architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
