Summary: The Lead / Hands-On Blockchain Architect role involves leading the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade distributed ledger solutions. This position requires a combination of technical leadership and active coding, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create secure and scalable systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Architectural Leadership: Lead end-to-end design of blockchain solutions, including consensus models, data structures, cryptographic frameworks, and node architectures.
- Platform Evaluation: Select and implement optimal blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda, Polygon, Avalanche) based on enterprise needs.
- Hands-on Engineering: Actively contribute to the development of smart contracts and core components.
- Integration & Scaling: Define API layers, node data flows, and enterprise integration patterns for legacy systems.
- Security & Governance: Implement strict security best practices (key management, node communication) and define data privacy and access models (GDPR, KYC/AML compliance).

- Overall Experience: 8+ years of experience within software engineering and enterprise architecture.
- Blockchain Expertise: 3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience designing and delivering distributed ledger systems.
- Platforms & Smart Contracts: Deep technical proficiency with Ethereum, Hyperledger, or Corda, alongside smart contract development languages (Solidity, Chaincode, DAML, or Rust).
