Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced BlackLine Configuration & Optimization Consultant to support and improve an existing BlackLine system used by U.

S. and Mexico finance teams.

The consultant will work with Finance, Accounting, GBS, and IT teams to improve BlackLine processes, automate manual work, troubleshoot issues, and implement system enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize the existing BlackLine system.
• Manage BlackLine workflows, rules, templates, and automation.
• Configure user roles, permissions, and approval workflows.
• Support Account Reconciliation, Transaction Matching, Task Management, Journal Entries, and Financial Close.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual finance processes.
• Troubleshoot configuration, workflow, integration, and access issues.
• Work with Finance, Accounting, GBS, and IT teams on requirements and solutions.
• Support testing, UAT, and production deployments.
• Prepare documentation, SOPs, and training materials.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal users.
• Track optimization activities and deliver measurable improvements.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with BlackLine administration, configuration, and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of financial close and accounting processes.
• Experience with Account Reconciliation and Transaction Matching.
• Experience with BlackLine workflows, rules, templates, roles, permissions, and automation.
• Experience supporting an existing BlackLine production environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work independently.

Preferred Skills

• Spanish proficiency is highly preferred.
• Experience supporting U.S. and Mexico/LATAM finance operations.
• Experience with BlackLine integrations and financial systems.
• Experience delivering BlackLine automation and process improvements.
• Change-management and user-adoption experience.
