Summary: The BizOps Lead (Marketplace / QA / Web Ops Specialist) will be responsible for the operational execution of a consumer-facing shopping app while supporting the development and management of various marketing initiatives. This role emphasizes operational efficiency, scalability, and process improvement, requiring collaboration across multiple teams. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operations, oversee QA testing, and maintain performance dashboards. This position is a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, document, and evolve operational processes to ensure clarity and efficiency
- Respond promptly to ad hoc requests, bugs, and configuration errors
- Manage merchant onboarding (sourcing hero images, logos, and text)
- Maintain affiliate links and oversee weekly module configurations
- Build, update, and thoroughly QA web pages for quality assurance
- Monitor Marketplace performance with programmatic alerts and dashboards
- Support financial program binding and publishing/QA of offers, modules, placements, and merchants
- QA email rendering, deep links, modules, and ARS links
- Collaborate with Design, Project Management, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams for asset delivery and execution
- Optimize Marketplace portal and tooling features for scalability
- Implement automation solutions to streamline operations
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in an operations role at a fast-paced tech company
- Strong QA knowledge and end-to-end testing experience
- Track record of delivering time-sensitive initiatives
- Experience in building internal tools and process improvements
- Self-starter with the ability to identify inefficiencies and drive solutions
- Strong prioritization and adaptability in fast-changing environments
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
- Attention to detail and organizational strength
- Technical Skills (Preferred): HTML/CSS, responsive templates, dynamic content design principles
- Experience with Litmus, Email on Acid, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ExactTarget
- Experience with Contentful (or other CMS), cross-device/browser testing tools (e.g., Browserstack)
- Familiarity with Chrome DevTools, Google Analytics, and/or Google Tag Manager
- Marketplace operations and affiliate marketing experience is a plus
