Key Responsibilities:
- Design Advanced Problems — Create challenging biochemistry questions spanning nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions to rigorously test AI performance
- Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write precise, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for high-level AI scientific reasoning
- Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical proofs for technical accuracy and adherence to scientific standards
- Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry or misunderstood stereochemistry, and provide structured feedback to improve the model's scientific thinking
- Work Independently — Complete task-based assignments asynchronously on your own schedule
Key Skills:
- Hold a PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field
- Strong foundational knowledge in areas such as structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, or bioinformatics
- Ability to communicate complex biological and chemical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
- Attention to detail when reviewing chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required
- Experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation workflows (nice to have)
- Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST (nice to have)
