Bilingual Storyline Developer (English/Arabic) Day-rate contract 10 days of work until 25th August Fully remote Instinct's client are a renowned global education body which creates professional accreditations for their specialist sector. They are on the lookout for a freelance Articulate Storyline Builder (bilingual in English and Arabic) to support the development of a new assessment product that accredits the knowledge of financial audit professionals for a Saudi Arabian public sector organisation. Most content will be provided by the client, with the focus on structuring, light adaptation, and SCORM-compliant build within Articulate Storyline. This is not a copyediting role, but will involve correcting obvious errors or inconsistencies and ensuring a smooth, accessible and functional user experience throughout.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Proofreading 300 multiple-choice questions in Arabic for grammatical accuracy.
  • Building a SCORM 2004-compliant functional, branded assessment in Articulate Storyline from a provided mock-up, including:
    • Welcome and instruction screens (translating from English to Arabic).
    • Summary and results screens (translating from English to Arabic).
    • Applying branding in line with the organisation's brand guidelines.
    • Ensuring the assessment meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards.
    • Creating approximately 21 question banks of varying sizes, ensuring the correct number of questions is drawn from each, as specified.
    • Testing and assuring:
      • Overall functionality of the assessment.
      • Compatibility with the latest versions of Chrome and Edge.
      • Compatibility with Rustici SCORM Cloud.

    Deliverables

    • A proof-of-concept SCORM 2004-compliant package, including internal assessment functionality and external LMS reporting, delivered by 28 July 2025.
