Summary: The BI / Analytics Engineer role focuses on transforming pilot data into actionable insights by developing Power BI reporting and semantic models. The position involves conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and creating enablement materials for effective handover. The engineer will ensure that dashboards and reports align with a single source of truth while maintaining consistent definitions across stakeholders. This role requires a strong background in Power BI solutions and effective communication skills for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build Power BI dashboards, analytical views, and KPI scorecards aligned to a single source of truth.
• Build well-structured semantic models over the Medallion gold layer with consistent definitions.
• Plan and execute user acceptance testing with business and technical stakeholders.
• Produce quick-reference guides, training, and operational handover materials.

Key Skills:

• 4+ years building Power BI solutions in production.
• Strong DAX and semantic-model design; KPI/definition alignment across stakeholders.
• Experience running UAT through to signed-off deliverables.
• Able to produce clear enablement materials for mixed audiences.
• Power BI / Fabric certification.
• Self-service analytics enablement and governance experience.
• Transit or public-sector reporting experience.
