Summary: The Beyond Trust Consultant role involves leading the technical implementation of BeyondTrust PAM for Windows service accounts in a fully remote capacity. The consultant is expected to have a strong background in system engineering and prior experience with BeyondTrust implementations. Responsibilities include integrating BeyondTrust with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra, managing infrastructure across hybrid cloud environments, and ensuring secure PAM deployment. The position requires collaboration with application owners and the ability to work independently across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead technical implementation of BeyondTrust PAM for Windows service accounts.
- Integrate BeyondTrust with Active Directory (on-prem) and Microsoft Entra (Azure AD sync).
- Collaborate with application owners to enable secure remote access to servers via BeyondTrust.
- Design and execute onboarding workflows for service accounts across multiple environments (Prod + 3 lower tiers).
- Support long-term vision to extend PAM controls to workstation endpoints.
- Manage infrastructure across hybrid cloud (IBM Cloud, Azure) with ~1,000 servers (primarily Windows, some Linux).
- Ensure secure and scalable PAM deployment across entrusted environments.
- Provide guidance on AD account management within BeyondTrust (not a migration, but ongoing management).
Key Skills:
- Proven experience implementing BeyondTrust PAM in enterprise environments.
- Strong background in infrastructure and operations, especially hybrid cloud setups.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Azure, and IBM Cloud.
- Familiarity with privileged access workflows for service accounts and local admin controls.
- Ability to work independently and drive technical execution across distributed teams.
