Summary: The BESS Project Manager role involves overseeing grid scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from development through to operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of grid scale BESS projects
- Lead and manage internal project teams
- Ensure that project timelines and budgets are closely monitored and that the programme of works is adhered to
- Develop and maintain project execution plans covering technical, commercial, construction and commissioning
- Assist with the evaluation and recommendations of appropriate BESS technologies and configurations
- Coordinate with the technical teams to develop detailed specs for the systems
- Be on site for construction and management of the projects, solving problems when necessary
- Manage all contractual obligations across the projects
