Summary: The role of Band 8 SAP FICO Package Consultant (Profit Center Reorg Specialist) involves providing expert consultancy in SAP S/4HANA Finance and Profit Center Reorganization. The consultant will be responsible for designing and executing reorganization projects, ensuring effective simulations and validations. This position is primarily remote with occasional travel required around the go-live phase. The consultant must possess extensive experience in SAP Finance and related tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute reorganization projects using tools like FINS_REORG_001.
• Ensure clean simulations, execution, and validation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Handle organizational structure changes including profit center, cost center, and business area.
• Manage the reorganization plan lifecycle: creation, simulation, execution, and monitoring.
• Conduct margin analysis and manage reporting impact.
• Implement profit center hierarchy changes and realignment strategies.

Key Skills:

• Strong SAP Finance background with SAP S/4HANA (or ECC with New GL).
• Hands-on experience with Profit Center Reorganization Tool (FINS_REORG_001).
• Deep understanding of Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and document splitting.
• Expertise in FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules.
• Proficiency in margin analysis (account-based CO-PA).
• Experience with audit trail, consistency checks, and reporting impact management.
• Familiarity with change management during reorganization cycles.
• SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification preferred.
• Experience with tools like FINS_REORG_MONITOR and FINS_REORG_PLAN.
