Backup Engineers A major financial services migration programme is scaling up, and needs additional hands-on backup engineers. Rubrik is the target platform, but training is provided, what matters is that your backup and recovery fundamentals are genuinely strong.
What we're looking for:
- Enterprise backup engineering background — NetBackup, Commvault, Veeam, NetWorker or Data Domain
- Real backup migration experience, not BAU administration alone
- Sound grasp of policies, retention, restore validation and capacity
- VMware / Hyper-V, Windows and Linux estate knowledge
- Rubrik experience welcome but not essential
Contract details:
- 6 months initially
- Fully remote, UK-based
- Inside IR35
- Start: asap
- Staggered week: Wednesday to Sunday, weekend rota approximately one in three
