Backend Java Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Backend Java Developer to join our customer's team on a remote basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers, architects, and stakeholders to deliver seamless integration and robust functionality.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support a variety of business processes and client needs.
• Ensure all solutions are secure, scalable, and easy to maintain by adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems for performance and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and contribute actively to the team's continuous improvement.
• Document technical solutions, workflows, and processes to ensure clarity and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience developing backend systems.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices-based architecture.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Background in integrating third-party services or external APIs.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
