Summary: The role of Backend / Infrastructure Engineer focuses on utilizing a CLI-based AI coding agent to debug infrastructure issues within Docker containers. Key Responsibilities:
- Solve infrastructure debugging tasks using a CLI-based AI coding agent.
- Diagnose broken systems inside Docker containers, including databases, TLS, pipelines, and access control.
- Write bash scripts to fix root causes and ensure service restarts are successful.
- Compare and rank the performance of different agents after each task.
Key Skills:
- Experience in software engineering with hands-on debugging of systems and infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in bash/shell scripting.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Skills in infrastructure and systems debugging across databases, networking, security, and pipelines.
